April 1st Track Workout

The team was up bright and early this morning for out first track workout of the season. After a mile of warm-up drills, we knocked out about a mile of indian runs.
Next, we tackled the bleachers for 6 minutes of stair climbs at 2 minute intervals.
After the stairs, we were back on the track for some intervals. We did a mile of one minute pushes with 1/min recovery, then a second mile of 30 second sprints with 90 seconds recovery.
After a half mile of cool down, we did some stretching and wrapped up just before 8am. We completed the 60-minute workout by covering just over 4.75 miles. Not bad for the first track workout of the season.
We’re planning on heading to the park Saturday morning for a ride and run outside. Hope to see you there!
